‘Vitaliteit en Eigen Regie’ is the knowledge centre of the Faculty of Health Care at Leiden University of Applied Sciences. The knowledge centre investigates what knowledge, skills and attitudes healthcare professionals need to continue providing care in a rapidly changing and increasingly challenging healthcare environment. We distinguish ourselves with our specific knowledge and expertise in two substantive research themes: person-centred care and sustainable employability. In addition, two more themes will be developed into full-fledged core themes in the future: (i) care technology (ii) climate adaptation and health.
