Enrolment
Are you taking the plunge into advancement at Leiden University of Applied Sciences? From tuition fees to step-by-step registration plans, you'll find what you're looking for here.

You've got your mind set on...
Are you going for a dual program, part time program or master's program? Then you always register via Studielink. Follow the steps:
Step 1: Check if you meet the admission requirements
You can only enroll if you meet the admission requirements. On the programme pages, you'll find information specific to each programme. For example, what prior education is required?
Always review the application procedure as well. For some programs, you may need to take a mandatory test or interview, or go through a decentralised selection process.
Step 2: Enroll on time through Studielink
Know your deadline:
Our full-time programmes start in September. On the programme pages, you'll find the deadline for each program. For many programmes, this is May 1st or July 15th. However, sometimes it may be earlier or later.
For some programmes, you can also start in February. You can find this information on the programme page.
Enrol:
If you meet the admission requirements and are sure the programme suits you, enrol via Studielink with your DigiD. Don't have a DigiD yet? Keep in mind that the application takes about a week.
Step 3: Follow the matching process of your programme
Depending on your programme, you'll follow the matching process (decentralised selection, Study Choice Check, or intake). On the programme pages, you'll find the necessary information for each programme.
Step 4: Check the status of your enrolment
Your enrolment is only final once you meet all enrolment requirements and have completed all necessary steps. An up-to-date overview of this can be found in Studielink, under the status of your enrolment
Step 5: Arrange the payment of the tuition fees
To finalise your enrolment, you must arrange the payment of the tuition fees on time. You can do this with a digital authorisation in Studielink.

Enrolment information for training courses or a course at Leiden University of Applied Sciences can be found on the respective pages.
Tuition Fee Refund
You do not have to pay tuition fees for the months in which you are not enrolled. Therefore, after completing your deregistration, Leiden University of Applied Sciences will carry out a reimbursement.
- If you have paid the tuition fee in one installment, you will receive a refund for each remaining month of the academic year.
- If you have paid in installments, we will offset the installments you have already paid against the total amount due.
In both cases, we will offset any outstanding debts owed to the university, such as fines from the Media Center.
Any excess tuition fees will be refunded to the payer's bank account. Please note: if you deregister on or after July 1st, you are no longer entitled to a tuition fee refund.
It's important to cancel your student travel product and student finance on time. You can find more information on the DUO website.
Enrolment Regulations
In the Enrolment Regulations, you will find the rules on (re)enrolment, deregistration and payment of tuition and examination fees.
Exceptions
Some trajectories have no fixed start dates but may begin, for example, when there is sufficient interest. In such cases, it's best to leave your details. We will then contact you.
