Meaningfulness of daily activities
Rehabilitation is one of the key aims of clinical treatments. To contribute to this, (forensic) institutions design programs and activities. The line of research looking at daily activities focusses on the effectiveness of these programs and activities and measures this based on the Inpatient Daily Activities Inventory (IDAI; Schaftenaar & van der Helm, 2014). This questionnaire develops a picture of the experiences of prisoners and patients and distinguishes five factors: teaching/fulfillment, recovery, structure, autonomy and contact/support.
