National Symposium Metabolomics in Practice 2019
Metabolomics is becoming a more and more important technology for life sciences. By organizing this symposium, the research group Metabolomics aims to provide people in BioScience Park Leiden with a platform where they can meet and interact on metabolomics. Therefore, we have put together an exciting program in which scientists from the work field will give lectures about their work. Furthermore, there will be companies with stands.
The main language at the symposium is English.
Inaugural speech Peter Lindenburg
Following the symposium Peter Lindenburg, professor Metabolomics University of Applied Sciences Leiden, will hold his inaugural speech Metabolomics: from small molecules to big possibilities.

The symposium is co-organized by the research group Metabolomics and the Netherlands Metabolomics Centre. This centre focusses on the development of metabolomics based technologies and instrumentation to address the current and future challenges in biology, biotechnology and biomedical research in order to improve personalised health and quality of life.
