Students from foreign education institutions with which we have an exchange agreement are welcome at UAS Leiden to participate in our international minors. Next to this, UAS Leiden offers some tailor-made programmes to (Erasmus) exchange students.
"I felt very welcome at UAS Leiden. Everybody around me was helpful and I was linked to two Dutch students, who were my buddies. We undertook social activities together and if I had any questions about the city, the course or just anything, I could always ask them. It was also great that I had quite a lot of free time so that I could check out the country."

We require from all exchange students that their knowledge of the English language is sufficient.
Sufficient means:
You can apply by filling in our application form. After we have received your application, the international coordinator of the programme of your choice will check if you fulfil the requirements and if you can be admitted. If you are admitted you will receive a letter of acceptance from us.

If you want to work during your studies in the Netherlands you are allowed to do so. Depending on your nationality you can only do so for a limited amount of hours per week and if the employer has applied for a work permit for you.
If you want to do an internship it is also seen as work, thus certain rules apply.
